This community-based program provides a place for families to grow fresh food, get exercise, and build community. Careful attention is given to welcoming refugees and immigrants, but all are welcome! A modest plot fee covers water, compost, and tools for the whole season, as well as access to all our education and social events. Sites include Harrison Park, 139th, 150th, and 162nd community gardens.
Outgrowing Hunger is the contract operator for the Gresham Community Gardens Program. These gardens are open to all people who live or work in Gresham. The six gardens offer 168 plots of various size, including ADA-accessible plots, for $25 per year. Registration is through City of Gresham.
This website is maintained by Outgrowing Hunger staff in order to provide important information about our local Community Gardens programs, a calendar with important dates and events, and other useful information about gardening.
